Learn how to shop on Amazon.co.jp and arrange hotel delivery, Amazon Locker or convenience store pickup during your Tokyo stay.

Before you order

Open Amazon.co.jp, switch the language to English where available, then sign in or create an account.
Check size, seller, shipper and estimated delivery date. Leave time to collect the parcel before departure.
At checkout, choose the hotel address you confirmed or search for a pickup point by postcode or address. Choose from the options shown for your order.
Review the delivery or pickup details and available payment methods before confirming. Follow the instructions in the order or pickup notification.

Three ways to receive your order

01 · Delivery

Hotel reception

Ask permission before ordering. Confirm the address format, reservation name, stay dates, package fees and handling policy. Use the details reception gives you and check that the estimated delivery falls during your stay.

02 · Self-service pickup

Amazon Locker

Select an available locker at checkout. Wait until the package is ready, then use the code, barcode or app instructions in the notification. Check access hours and the collection deadline.

03 · In-store pickup

Convenience store counter

Select a participating counter listed by Amazon during checkout. Wait for the collection notice and follow the store-specific barcode or code instructions. Check the deadline and counter hours.

Pickup depends on the order and the location. Shipping party, parcel size, product restrictions and availability can affect the choices shown. Choose the pickup location through Amazon’s checkout.

Ask the hotel before checkout

Could you accept a prepaid parcel for me during my stay? What name and address should I enter, and are there any handling fees?

If the hotel declines and checkout shows no eligible pickup point, check local stores before placing the order.
